Springtime is here isn't it?

Well hello Judges,

Here at www.sendoptics.com we are
sat here just aghast at the snow still on the pavements outside. The snow seems
to keep teasing with little flurries and causing conversation with the patients
of Judge opticians.... is it really Spring time?

You Judges know my thoughts on the importance of wearing sunglasses to
protect your eyes in the low level UV, but it seems that the people coming into Judge
opticians Leicester just want to enjoy the pretence that it's really sunny out
and to have a new accessory and hope for a Summer.

We are on count down ready for the new lables to be with us and also the
new styles from your favourite labels; these will be with you before you know it

Brand New Retro

Well Judges,

What can i say .... on a recent Jaunt into the heart of Nottinghsm to have a
mooch around in the clothes shops, I was surprised to see a mixture of sludgey
colours next to some of the most amazing blues, colour blocking and neons.

It's official ... Spring has hit the world of Fashion, and with it brings us
hope of the warmer months to come. Roll on summer ,we are all saying at www.sendoptics.com.

Model mum and sportstar looks

Well Hello Judges,

What a dismal day it is..... the sun has struggled to show it's face at all
today the temperature is arctic and snow is lying on the floor. Teenagers throwing snowballs at the unsuspecting knocking off their hats/caps....including me !...It's lucky I can still throw a snowball as if I was Michael Vaughn!.. Here in Judge opticians home of www.sendoptics.com we have been busy packing and sending out all your orders and dealing with many enquiries; it
seems we are all hoping for some sun and getting our new styles ready in
expectation of the summer sun.

With all the sport that is on our screens and the affinity with have with
sports due to the Olymipcs it seems the need for performance glasses is on the
up. Prada Sports, Oakley and tag-heuer. Well it seems we
need to stay protected or do we just want to look like David Beckham on the
field?

For ladies, it seems that Miranda Kerr , being the fash packs favourite mum is
looking stunning everyday in anything from Miu Miu. Miu Miu has had us enthralled
for the past few seasons with it's sungasses range and is loved from Madonna to
Solange Knowles, Rhianna and 'Mad Men's' ultra sexy January Jones.

It seems the weather keeps getting in the way but with the various types of
light I have been making sure I have kept a pair of sunglasses close at hand for
when out and about and of course for when driving. The light levels and also
the artifical lights are not good at times and so I have a contrast lens with a
yellow tint. This makes it much easier to see.

Paul Smith this year has one of the most stunning collections with nerdy styles in such bright
blocks of colour. This is such a striking look Judges' if you need anything in
your life it's some colour.

Judges', I do hope you are enjoying my Blogs but i keep thinking something is
missing and that is a little more interaction from you fellow Judges. If you

internet watching the shows streamed from London. Paris was where the most
shocking and riotous collections normally show.

This year seems to have seen a little bit of a downturn on the normal , and
saw the French become almost reserved. One French house that you Judges' will be
more than familiar with is Celine , the house saw growth of over 10% and an
extension into London with a new store in Mount Street in the uber glitzy
Mayfair in the heart of London's trendy sector.

With a celebrity list with more A's in it than an Etonian school report the
list includes Kim 'Kanye' Kardashian, Rhianna and Miranda Kerr the most talked
about of course stylish ladies of the moment love nothing more than Celine.

In fashion it's already Winter

Well hello Judges,

How lovely to see you again and I do hope the resolutions are still being kept to. I must say the Dryatholon went well for us here at www.sendoptics.com and no one has had to buy a wagon pass.We managed to donate a good tidy sum to Cancer Research....we feel very pleased, but shocked at how much money we spend on 'entertainment!'

The reduced carbs is getting more difficult by the minute. If i could just get away with sniffing bread and licking a cake i would be on it like a rat up a drainpipe.

Well, to that time of year again my fellow Judges ! It's that time again the fashion Juggernaut is in full flow first stopping off in London for the 2nd Menswear shows. Where A/W 13 will see us in Giant knitwear in muted hues, planks on our faces. We have the joys of the utility jacket and the new bomber.

Suits are going to be in varying shades of grey, black and blue. Suits are going to be a mix of traditional with sports styling.

Leather is going to be a massive look along with patterning such as geometry and colour blocking that will be finished off with those ever cheerful socks that us men love.

The most successful looks on the menswear runway in Milan has to be Bottega Venta mix it up with their sunglassses and you will have the look that will carry you through for another two seasons.

Judges remeber keep em peeled and there is another to report very soon.

Well Hello Judges,

last year , and these proved so popular with Rhianna and Miranda Kerr the ultra beautiful Victoria Secrets model and wife of Orlando Bloom.

Miranda wears the pentacle collection with something of a quirk and suits
her flawless skin and her paired down casual style. Rhianna was seen cavorting
aboard a yacht around the carribean.

Miaranda Kerr not only sports the Culte collection but is a massive fan of
the Miu Miu 'Noire' collection not having a single pair but taking tips off the
original Miu Miu Noire fan Madonna owning every colour available.

New Year, New Life....

Hello Judges,

Welcome to one and all! I hope this finds you well and that you enjoyed the first weekend of 2013. Here at www.sendoptics.com we have been busy keeping ourselves busy ,so not to cave in with our New Years resolutions.

We have chosen like so many to increase our activities, our diets ( though i must admit i did sneak a cream cake in on Thursday) and of course we are taking part in the Dryathalon for cancer research and must say these past few days have been great not waking up bleary eyed.

What are your New years resolutions my good fellow Judges ? Are they the same as ours.... to try and be better about how we treat our bodies this year? Well, we did not get obliterated like the Mayans thought, so we may as well try and protect ourselves for the future.

So Judges what is new in the fashion world I hear you understand.... well ,one of the Missioni clan have gone missing on a flight over Venezeula, well none other than the head honcho. We at www.sendoptics.com wish the family well and for those on the flight to be found alive and well.

So with all of us taking up outdoor pursuits or new activities outdoors it is time to look at some sunglasses to suit the needs of you Judges.

Well, today (friday) I am de-toxing like a good 'un....cleansing my body and
decluttering my wardrobe and drawers, and that reminded me.... what do I do
about the hoard of sunglasses I am massing.....well, as Stella McCartney states,
she has 2 sunglasses, a fun pair and a classic pair which she wears depending on
which mood she is in.....
So 2013, I am looking at my Stella's which are eco-friendly, and made of at
least 70% recyclble materials for fun, and my Bvlgari's for best, with their
encrusted swarovski crystals....Ideal to dress up an item in these gloomy
times.....
What sort of sunglasses do you like?....please email us admin@judgeopticians.co.uk and tell
us what style befits you, and if there are any styles/brands you would like us
to feature in the coming season.
All our sunglasses feature a 12 month warranty, and free delivery during
these bleak months on January.

Well it's 2013......all you domesday preppers were wrong, and we have a new year to look forward to....

Here at www.sendoptics.com we have all started our 'dryathalon' ....not drinking for the month of January and donating all the money we would spend to cancer research. So getting rid of our love handles and giving all the cash we would spend on a crafty Pinot Noir to a worthy cause. No brainer!!!

Well Judges' we have had a great 2012 having launched new brands, all having been runaway successes, especially the Miu Miu 'Noir' and 'Culte' collections, and the Stella McCartney ranges for women, and the Oliver Peoples and Paul Smith ranges for men.

We are launching some new ranges in the coming weeks, and no clues yet, but they are very wearable and affordable in this age of austerity.

If you would like us to look at some up and coming ranges, please email us admin@judgeopticians.co.uk and we will gladly see what they are like and we will then feature them. Remember, this site is as much about you as it is us.

Well, i'm going to eat my dinner of miso soup and calculate how many calories I am losing.....

As we turn our backs on 2012, remember, we beat the Mayans!!

Well Hello Judges,

It is that time of year when we bid a farewell to everything that has happened. Everything has happened this year here at www.sendoptics.com . All the changes and the bright new look along with a whole host of new labels. 2012 has been a good year for www.sendoptics.com and keep popping by in 2013 for all the best sunglasses at the best prices on the web.

So Judges, 2012 has seen the Olympics and Paralympics with more gold than the bank of England. Jessica Ennis has said she wishes to establish a career as a fashion designer. What next ....Paul Gascoine as the face of boots anti - wrinkle cream ......

Dior lost it's head designer and gained fresh blood in the most controversial apppintment of Raf Simmons. With a highly acclaimed first couture collection the fashion world is waiting with baited breath for what the ready to wear collections will be offering. Well Judges , don't worry , we will be keeping you posted as soon as it happens.....

Balenciaga has welcomed a New creative director in the guise of Alexander Wang, who has had acclaim with his own label for the past few seasons and recruited a bevvie of celbrity followers. So us Judges are excited to see what will occur with this appointment and if Balenciaga continues to become a bigger name than they already are.

Stella McCartney , Paul Smith, Giorgio Armani have also had a massive years Stella won British designer of the year award and Best British Brand. Paul Smith was chosen to make a special crown to comemorate the Queens diamond Jubilee or as I like to call it that little tea party she had for two days. Giorgio Armani opened his first hotel in Milan.

Miu Miu scored another on the most wanted list with their Culte sunglasses and the continuing success of the Noir coleection.

Prada scored a great big yes off the fashion pack with the the Dixies and Teddy collections based on Americana from the 50's.
