Well, wasn't last night's closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympics featuring Coldplay and Rihanna excellent!....I have to say, seeing the paralympians over the past week and a half was amazing!.... you forget that they have a disability, and their achievements were given their due appreciation by the British public today on their open top tour around London with the Olypians from 2012. Without sounding jingoistic, this summer has made me proud to say that I am 'made in Britain'.

Their 'homesteads' are all electrified and they are teaching even their very young children how to shoot with the most frighening weapons imaginable!...but one thing they can't decide on... how the world will end... 50 Shades Of Grey

Hello Judges',

Well the spectacle that was the opening ceremony of the Olympics has been and gone and what an interesting night it turned out to be, celebrating all the great and good of the U.K. throughout the ages. The ceremony was watched by at least a staggering 20million British viewers. I for want of a better word was extremely impressed and proud of the show.

On Saturday I was quietly reading the  Daily Telegraph when an article caught my eye called 'silver fox or just plain grey'. The article entered the debate about age appropriate dress and how to shop for your age if you are 45 or older. I sat their thinking about this ....should I no longer shop in Zara, Selfridges or numerous designers that are featured in young and happening magazines …. Am I too old to wear what the man on the street does?

In the article there was also a quiz to find out what type of 'Mr Grey' you are. Now, no offence, it was clear that like everything the creator of said quiz ...does not get out much with a list of three labels. I knew my answer before I started , and fixed my answers. Prada Sport packs a big punch....

Hello Judges,

Are you fine and dandy ? Enjoying the sun and the brighter evenings? I am spending far too much time out on the decking where I am, as I settle to write this Blog. The sun is currently high with only a few white clouds floating across the wedgewood blue sky. Summer is here Judges. So who has the BBQ out today, or is it salad time to make sure we look amazing on the beach ?......work those abs baby!!!....or just breathe in for 2 weeks!

I am currently looking at where to take myself and the family for our Grande Vacances ? I am currently throwing Sardinia or Italy into the mix along with Spain. The Euro crisis will not stop this Judge from 2 weeks well earned break. I hope you Judges like myself are planning a Summer Trip, If so don't forget to take at least one pair of sunglasses to protect your peepers.

Well I don't know about you Judges I am glad the sun is spending so much time with us so I can spend the time outside. I am getting fed up with the same re-runs of T.V shows and as for football taking over the channels . God help me when it comes to the Olympics.
