Paul Smith inspired by Jim Morrison ánd an exhibition.

Well hello to you Judges !

Well what a great start to the new year for Sir Paul Smith it has been .  Inspired by the east and rock music, his menswear collection was amazing.

Here at http://www.sendoptics.com we are very busy with not just our current labels, but still going through all our new ranges to be dripped onto the site over the next few months for next season. You have been busy sending in your suggestions, and we really appreciate all your suggestions but we have some very welcome new labels coming in by the end of February

Well this year so far has been a busy old time for our very own Sir Paul Smith , not only with an exhibition at the London Design Museum, but with an astounding menswear collection based on the style of rock royalty Jim Morrison. Jewel colours, carpet patterns and huge swathes of scarves. The look was a true Paul Smith classic with edgy style and a wearable feel to all and a good dash of humour. Men wear any of these colours with any of the Paul smith sunglasses collection but the Judges favourite has to be Callum PM4056 5013/T4 a double bridge aviator with a purple haze lens.

Welcome to the new designs for 2014.

Hello Judges',

Here at http://www.sendoptics.com  we are busy, busy, busy. Looking at new ranges and models from existing labels, but also keeping tabs on the labels we are going to be stocking this coming year. One label has been revealed already by mistake on another social media post that popped out too early! Remember Judges',we are going to be launching these labels a week earlier to newsletter subscribers so if you are not signed up make sure you are.

Before we do the big reveals, we will be photographing and pricing these new labels to commence the release. The release will be exclusive for the first week to Newsletter subscribers giving you chance to look not only better than your family and friends or even better than your frenemies at the office !

So Menswear fashion weeks have been under way, and now couture week in Paris has just wrapped up until September.

Menswear in London was fun, fresh and forward thinking, with a slight conservative edge to it. Suits cut to their sharp pristine finishes lines, so well formed creating a desirable silhouette for all. Texture against traditional fabrics all in one. Muted colour ways with accents to break up the tones and blocks. Blankets and scarfs. Coats finished with fur effect collars and cut to mid calf.

Burberry was full on sharp tailored with blanket shawls in a new take on the traditional check almost with a nod to Celine's big check coat that rocked the fashion world last season.

Alexander McQueen show had print, precision tailoring, and a dark twist on accessories.... the overall look was like a flashback to a Hitchcock with a punk aesthetic and styling.

Paul Smith presented his collection on a Turkish carpeted runway complete with matching shoes and woven patterns. The collection was sharp and on form the collection will add fun elements to the winter season a true signature of Paul Smith with not only style and bang on trends but a tongue in cheek look to the other sides.

Pringle of Scotland presented a super slick collection of serious fashion with a nod back to their archives of true style that created the house. Pringle is no longer a golf enthusiasts label but a true label for the serious fashion insider.

Well Judges', we are excited about what is to come in 2014 with the launch of  new labels that are more directional and edgy. Consider these new labels a fixture for what is to come. For updates on this sign up to our newsletter for news on frames and special offers to subscribers.

Remember, you don't have to spend a fortune to update your look but an investment in quality pieces is essential here at www.sendoptics.com we offer the best styles at the best prices...... the price of sight is priceless.

As a welcome to the new year we have reduced the prices of Paul Smith, Oliver Peoples and Stella McCartney a chance for you to add a new look for less from www.sendoptics.com this offer finishes on the 31st of January 2014.

At www.sendoptics.com we promise you the best designer sunglasses, the most competitive prices on line, expert advice and the best customer service you could ask for. All of our sunglasses hold a 1 year no nonsense guarantee. We also offer Tax free shopping for all our non E.U. friends.

Here's to 2014, from Sendoptics.com.

Well, happy new year, fellow Judges'.
We here at Sendoptics towers are starting to get excited about all the latest brands and models we are launching over the next few weeks.
2013 has seen Celine rise like a phoenix, going out into the stratosphere.
Favoured by the glitterati, such as Alexa Chung, seen below wearing the new 2014 model CL 41055 Papillon , that is one of the new popular styles for 2014
The style is reminiscent of Bardot in the 1950's early 60's, with a modern 21st centry twist. we have in stock at the moment the dusty pink which is absolutely gorgeous, but we will be getting the full compliment of colours over the coming weeks. This model is going to be HUGE, so get your pre-orders in now.
The sunglasses for this season are quite bold colour block sunglasses, with minimal logo, if any at all being present, leaving the styling to speak for itself. The sunglasses are very acetate driven agin this season, with only the finest Italian acetate being used. You can actually feel the quality when you touch  and feel them.
One major fashion house is re-launching itself in march, and we will be heavily featuring them over the coming weeks.
We are launching a French brand , hopefully this month , which is featured heavily in the British Vogue, Grazia , and Wallpaper , to name just 3. The sunglasses are just absolutly stunning, and are predominately female, however, there are around 5 models for us men...just you wait!
Another brand is an Italian/German brand, which is predominately male, that are so stylish and distinctive, they are also being launched at Dover street market
So keep informed fellow Judges' , and join our newsletter , our Facebook page or Twitter to keep informed of all the cool brands, and discount codes for flash sales we have.
At the moment, until 31/01/14 we have £40.00 off the price of ALL
Cutler and Gross
Oliver Peoples
Paul Smith
Stella McCartney
If you enter code AW13 in the promo box at check-out.
Any problems, please email us, and we will do our upmost to help.
Remember, www.sendoptics.com is the home of all the best designer sunglasses.
Lead, not follow.
Keep 'em peeled,
The Judge.

London Calling

Hello Judges,
I hope this finds you all well and you have been enjoying the sun and relaxing lots this week. It appears that New york fashion week passed by without too much causing outrage or rapturous applause. This being said, two collections were met with high acclaim... one being an ex spice girl and the other being an ex wife to a 'scientologist'. Victoria Beckham showed a collection of ultra cute dresses for her Victoria line and Katie Holmes premiered her first collection of separates to acclaim.

London Fashion week has been hailed a success so far with the likes of Jasper Conran sending down his models in fanatically simple clothing that represent British women to the full. He took a brave step(no pun intended) of sending down the models without shoes.

The Duchess of Cambridge favourite label 'Issa' premiered their S/S13 collection that can only be described as a great big sod off to the recession with oppulent fabrics and beautiful bold prints to stunning blocks of tropical colours. Staple Issa shapes of structure through to floor skimming maxi's.

The evening of September 16th sees Paul Smith breaking a mold for himself by streaming live his Womenswear collection. My prediction for this will also be his next foray into sunglasses and optics. For those of you already in the know Paul Smith sunglasses are actually designed and made by Oliver Peoples. The collection will be Paul smith's unique twist on \British tailoring and heritage with his usual smattering of inspiration from his walks around London and the world. Good Luck Paul with another show. The man must be tired the amount of collections and stores he has opened.

Well Judges I have to say this evening like a lot of the UK I am going to be revisiting a by gone era with the return of Downton Abbey. As i sit here typing this, I am titivating my bow tie and dusting off my velvet smoking jacket. Downton has not only been a massive ratings winner it has captured the hearts of many designers world over, with collections going back to the 20's and 30's.

Prada pillaged influences from the Baroque period highly embellished and exquisite fabrics. The Prada Baroque sunglasses are still catching the eyes of many, and have proved to be extremely popular.
Prada also this season decided to celebrate all things Americana with the arrival of the amazing Cadillac friendly 50's movie starlet Dixie's you really are spoilt for choice with the colours www.sendoptics.com and the price for these genuine high quality and unique Prada 'Dixies' that will keep you smiling throughout the winter months and years to come.

Men, we have not forgotten you with the Prada 'Teddy's' this collection of sunglasses that can only be described as multi functional highly stylish and not forgetting quality. Whether on your way to the office, kicking about town or on the golf course Prada Teddy's are one way to stand out from the crowd.

Well Judges', with the new John Lewis TV campaign on in the background a Nostalgic evening it is for me with roast chicken and a Manhattan coctail.

50 Shades Of Grey

Hello Judges',
Well the spectacle that was the opening ceremony of the Olympics has been and gone and what an interesting night it turned out to be, celebrating all the great and good of the U.K. throughout the ages. The ceremony was watched by at least a staggering 20million British viewers. I for want of a better word was extremely impressed and proud of the show.

On Saturday I was quietly reading the  Daily Telegraph when an article caught my eye called 'silver fox or just plain grey'. The article entered the debate about age appropriate dress and how to shop for your age if you are 45 or older. I sat their thinking about this ....should I no longer shop in Zara, Selfridges or numerous designers that are featured in young and happening magazines …. Am I too old to wear what the man on the street does?
In the article there was also a quiz to find out what type of 'Mr Grey' you are. Now, no offence, it was clear that like everything the creator of said quiz ...does not get out much with a list of three labels. I knew my answer before I started , and fixed my answers. Come on Judges'... we all do it. So I am a Trussardi wearing Oliver peoples sunglasses man with impeccable style. So Judges', have you seen the soloist collection by Oliver peoples  ?. The sunglasses are extremely popular with the Far East. Oliver peoples sunglasses are great with just about any look . If you love retro styles choose Oliver peoples.

I think they missed off the likes of Paul smith to be honest his tailoring and accessories  create a man and a look that is effortless and quintessentially British. The Paul smith sunglasses collection this summer has been extremely popular in the U.K and also in USA .Elson and Chaucer both proving popular with young and the older customer here at www.sendoptics.com . The range looks good with sharp tailoring through to jeans and Bretton stripes or just a crisp white shirt.

Prada continues to shine and the Olympics seems to have sparked an interest in thePrada Linea Rossa sunglasses (Prada sport) line . These are high quality sports frames for general use and specialised use in sailing and the whole of the Italian sailing team have been given these to sport and bring them luck. If your look is that of a sporty gent about town these frames are definitely for you.

With that Judges' I am back glued to my tv to continue to watch the coverage.

Now Judges before I do sign do not forget about our exciting news of our New look that we have launched and even if I do say so myself it looks great.

This new look would not have been possible without all of your comments and feedback.
So remember keep’em peeled and keep your comments flowing

A new look for Miu Miu and Celine goes all rural in the resorts.

Hello Judges',
Muccia Prada has had a mighty busy time of it of late. Miu Miu has a new face to front their advertising campaigns in Chloe Sevigny; the cult indie actress has been named the face for 2012/13. Some say this is a gamble, but with her new role in the upcoming film 'Manchester', this is a great move in my opinion for Miu Miu . The label has enjoyed a great year, with most people having seen the likes of many A lister’s in the re – titled ‘ Noir collection ', as the house was told to change this due to copyright reasons.
The Noir collection is still one of your Judges' favourite collections, and we have had a very good response from all over the world. The ' Culte collection’ is the latest addition to this collection, and nods towards futurism and fashion in gold black and tortoiseshell in either a hexagonal or apple shape. Fun, glamorous and something quirky from the label wanting you to join their ‘Culte’
Over in France, Paris was recently set a light with the fire of the Papp’s at fashion week….. Celine, my new favourite has thrown a spanner in the works for the glamour stakes mixing sleek lines with Cow print. Yes you read that right... Cow print !!!...only thing I can say is the fashion pack have gone mad for the whole Celine collection and you Judges' seem to be rather taken with the Celine sunglasses collection.
Stella Mccartney has recently been throwing parties galore to celebrate launches of mid seasonal collections and lines for the Olympics, Paul Smith the True Brit is getting ready to celebrate his 60th birthday. View our collections of Stella McCartney sunglasses and Paul Smith sunglasses on line.
Judges', we are on the final stretches on prepping towards the Olympics and security seems to be rather a concern for G4S and the country in this period. The lack of sun and flooding is my main concern... strange weather on the pinnacle of the end of the world financial meltdowns, Methane coming from the poles. It really is the end of the world and we are all doomed!!!!!
Well ,I am off for a walk into Town and to grab some food ...you Judges keep ‘em peeled for some exciting changes and updates to the site. Remember, www.sendoptics.com is the home of all the best designer sunglasses, at competitive prices!...and do not forget, if you are a non-EU resident, you get them duty free, so a further 20% off!!!...

Milan, Menswear, and a whole new look...

Hello Judges,
Well the world of fashion has yet again been on a runaway train with Milan menswear collections .The most amzing collection in this was Armani and Dolce and Gabanna which both featured simple silouhette's but a new look at last. The essence is that the shape instantly looks more relaxed and comfortable with its fantastically wide legged trousers.

The look that Paul Smith went for was a still slim and tapered and to be honest, a little tired look if it was not for the fantastic use of colour and pattern. Dior homme can only be described as an elegant version of a look that really works well and a nod back to the twenties and the infamous great gatsby.

So other than just the Menswear collection, the best day for fashion that has happened in years.. yes you got it Judges ...The Dior couture collection finally arrived to a sea of enraptoured editors, famous faces and the whole of the limited market that Raf Simons will be supplying. The Dior colllection gave birth to what can only be described as yet another new look. Judges', if you have not seen the collection get onto the Daily Telegraph fashionm website and check out the creativity in both Milan and Paris.
Check out on www.sendoptics.com the Dior Homme sunglasses collection, the Giorgio Armani sunglasses collection and the Paul Smith sunglasses collection to compliment the look . And do not forget, if you are a non-EU resident, you get them at duty-free prices, so a further 20% off the already discounted price!...How can you refuse..

Well for now Judges, I am off to carry on watching Wimbeldon and hopefully Murray will win it for us and make this year an even bigger reason for us to be proud to be be British

Celebrate the Jubilee with Swarovski and Bvlgari

Hello from a very hot and happy Judge,
How the devil are my favourite Judges' ? Well, this weekend sees the biggest day for our long reigning Queen and I would like all of us Judges to raise a glass of fizz to wish Queen Elizabeth the 2nd best of heath and have a fantastic day. The Diamond jubilee has us all feeling rather proud and patriotic. It is for this reson this Judge has decided to celbrate the coming diamond Jubilee weekend with a little summer deal for you fashion savvy folk. For the long bank holiday weekend there will be an extra 20%off on Swarvoski sunglasses and Bvlgari sunglasses from sendoptics.com with a choice of free gift aswell. Type in PROMO CODE JUBER2
Keeping this extremely patriotic ,it would be wrong that I did not include Paul Smith sunglasses, Alexander McQueen sunglasses and Stella McCartney sunglasses in the sale as well .Come on , they are all now the British success story in the fashion world. Paul Smith seems to be a very busy man of late with his launch in to the world of cycles , he is from Nottingham and with the death of Alan Oakley the creator of the Raleigh Chopper it came as a surprise to many that Paul Smith would do this. Stella McCartney has designed the Team GB outfits for the forthcoming Olympics, and Alexander McQueen designed THAT dress worn by our Kate.
Bvlgari is a long established Italian fashion house who was origianlly created in the realms of rich jewels and lashings of gold. The typical Italian lady loves the simple shapes of the sunglasses with the glamorous touches of the gold coin or crystals that finish off the look to make these truly beautiful sunglasses.
Swarvoski once renowned for it's collectable crystal pieces now has reached a success in the fashion marketplace with it's elements collection now being sported by many a famous face and supplying all the major fashion houses with there beautiful sparkling nuggets. The Swarvoski sunglasses range was only launched last year and already has a cult following and with Cheryl Cole and Heidi Klum , both being pictured out and about in these you can hardly fail to see them.
So Judges', how are you enjoying the weather.... are you finding yourself ready for the rain and the cold, wishing it was back for a couple of nights?.. Hoping to get the sleep back to normal ,or are you wishing work would hurry up so you can relax outside like myself. However you choose to spend your time in the great weather never leave home without your SPF and sunglasses.
Cheers Ma'am and Judges remeber to keep 'em peeled
The Judge.

Today I am feeling mighty fine, and very dandy!

Good morning Judges,
Well this blog is for you Gents out there, or those ladies who take an avid interest in the menswear market. One of the biggest looks to be dominating menswear this season is the look of the 'dandy' with the film adaptation of Dorian Gray with his youthful looks and flamboyant styles.Collars are going anyhow, casual is turning smart on it's head, and denim is a no no. Cravats and pocket squares are hot to trot and brogues and retro sandals in the summer sun ( wherever it maybe hiding). Paisley and colour blocking along with clashing textures make for a more interesting look.
To compliment the look you need the right sunglasses go for something a little different fellow Judges, and think clever. Finishing touches like Armani sunglasses ....aviators with their leather bridge bar on these new classicss. Paul Smith sunglasses , model Chaucer is another contender with it's rounded shape and classic colours.
Blue is this season's new black , with the tones being bright and bold and the best use of this colour happened on the catwalk of Bottega Venetta sunglasses with there intricate use of blocks and shapes in the tailored menswear vision. With their special use of intricate weaving and minimal branding the look is luxury without being in your face. Remember, www.sendoptics.com is the home of all the most upto date sunglasses you will ever require, and if you get 25 people to 'like' us on facebook at send optics (2 separate words ) we will give you an extra £20.00 off.. what a great deal!
For now Judges
I need to sort my dinner and grab a cool glass of wine ....
Keep 'em peeled until next time

What a week it has been for Dior!

Hello Judges,
Well what a weekend in the world of fashion it has been. Dior continues to intrigue the world of fashion with Raf Simons upcoming couture show headlining the shows in July. Either way I predict that the show itself will dominate this season with his vision of how couture should be.. Hopefully with his usual quirks and use of colour injecting a new look for Dior again.
Like the 'Les Marquis collection' of sunglasses adding a new look to the faces of many fashion conscious ladies. Alternatively, ladies and gents give the new luxury label with strong Italian roots a chance to grace our faces ....Bottega Veneta sunglasses .
Other fashion news appears to be the ongoing debate for men's trends. Do we go sports tastic for the Olympics wearing the likes of Tag Heur sunglasses with their exclusive high grade lenses ideal for all different activities including funnily enough driving with there low light night lenses...... or pack a punch with Prada Linea Rossa sunglasses. Altenatively do we continue to rock the American prep trend and complete the look with Johnny Depp's and Robert Downey Jnr favourite label Oliver Peoples sunglasses or Paul Smith sunglasses for the ultimate in cool.
Well, last weekend I celebrated my birthday with my friends with a few drinks and too much cake. Some quality tracks from the years and too much wrapping paper strewn over the floor on Sunday morning. One of my friends discovered my latest find that will be coming to the site very soon! So keep em peeled for a few new labels one well known making a welcome return and another new to me but the style is too cool for Skool !.
I have to say Sunday appeared to be like travelling back to early January with the Wind, Rain and of course the freezing temperature. So with nothing else to do I went over to the cinema to watch my first Polish film, not only a first but with a reactive gentleman with a colourful imagination and even more colourful use of the English Language whenever there was an explosion made for a second first. A film of serious content becoming the most hilarious thing to happen in a long time ...Roll on when i get to tell a couple of my friends about this. Totally surreal....a Polish war film about espionage and a guy in the audience with Tourettes!
If you like this blog ,keep up to date with photos, news and promotions on our facebook page ...send optics (2 separate words) . 'Like' us and be informed all about new product launches, flash sales and competitions to win great sunglasses! Remember, sendoptics.com is the home for discounted designer sunglasses .
So until next time When i will be telling you some more interesting fashion titbit's.
Keep 'em, peeled ,
The Judge

Miu Miu petrolheads and such lovely shades.

Good day Judges,
Well what a great day yesterday was... the sun was shining, people seemed to be relieved with the rays being back in force. Smiles and sunglasses always makes me happy. So what have you Judges' been upto of late ?. Lot's no doubt..... remember, i do love to hear from you ,and I am putting together a monthly newsletter that will be written in the same format as this blog. It will be to inform you all about sunglasses and fashion, so if any of you Judges' would like to receive this please pass on your email address through the 'contact us' form.
I do love to hear what you Judges think about our collections, and comments about the site. If there are any improvements you think we can still undertake, please contact us , as wwww.sendoptics.com is the home of discounted designer sunglasses; but I hope like myself, after all this hard work to make the site what it is today, you are inspired ,and also like the new collections. I know a lot of you do with regard to what you have been buying Miu Miu sunglasses are still a firm favourite.
The fashion press at the moment are still celebrating the news of Raf Simons creative director at Dior. The man known for minimalism going to head a House known for opulence, and over the grandeur thanks to John Galliano. I will certainly like many be pleased to see Rafs first collection and see how his influence will be interpreted by the big House and see what new vision he brings.
On my recent trip down to London on the streets I was not surprised to see the wonderful usual diverse mix of looks that London sports on the streets. Many of the crowd looking like they had stepped out from a magazine or in some case a 40's film cast. In Soho, there certainly seemed to be no end to creative expression on the streets and the way some choose to interpret the trends fascinates me. A couple that stood out for me were a Lady in her 40's who seemed so comfortable in her own skin ....and what skin! She looked like a young Elizabeth Taylor and seemed a little bit of fashion magpie in seamed stockings a cool up do and stiletto's that were like stilts.A bag that looked like it could hold a small child as well as all its paraphernalia. To top the look she had on one of the new Miu Miu cameo's and a pair of red Miu Miu carte noire sunglasses.
A young man who looked like he had stepped out of an edgy band with his full sleeve tattoo, braces, Comme des Garcon play blue polo shirt, skinny chino's rolled to reveal blue socks and Paul Smith slouch shoes .His hair was quaffed to an inch of his life and his outfit was complete with Paul Smith Cochrane brown sunglasses, I was informed that his look was an upmarket petrol head ( i asked nothing further as I have no clue as to what a petrol head is)
In London the Miu Miu store was a breath of fresh bright airy and bright to say the least as usual the assistants oozed the glamour and looked as if they were really dressed for a meeting with vogue, prints and colours clashed and music was on lightly in the background. The Miu Miu sunglasses collection has new pieces coming in around a months time and i will be adding these when we receive them i do promise you that. They are the Miu Miu Culte sunglass collection, so if you would like to reserve them now...you know which ones these are!!....email me and I will put you on the top of the list. The usual discount will apply to these as well , my lovelys!...See, I spoil you all rotten!
So what sights have you been Judging whilst out and about let me know I do love to people watch
So for now my wonderful Judges I am off for a G 'n't T to finish the day and watch the news then grab an early night.
You stay safe and keep em peeled
Remember sendoptics the home to discounted designer sunglasses.

Sir Paul Smith takes over the world!.....

Hello Judges,
How the devil are you on this fine day, all good I hope !
Well here at the optician's I have to say we are maxed out on Sunglasses .For once we have taken full delivery of all this years stock and are pleased with the results. For yet another year looking back to what I ordered late last year it appears the Judge's eye was right with the choices. A fellow Optician is reporting slow sales and is wishing he had got on the Bottega Veneta sunglass wagon before it left last year. You Judges seem to know what you like on the website ...we are having a flurry of orders coming through from Europe and London for Balenciaga sunglasses and Bottega Veneta sunglasses .....the fashion capital knows it's stuff.
Paul smith seems to hold no boundaries when it comes to his massive empire. Recently Paul Smith announced and launched his collaboration with British Surf label Swami, not only that but his store in the big apple on 5th avenue celebrated it's 25th birthday. Seems the U.S. still have an affinity for us Brit's and our style.
Most recently though Sir Paul celebrated another coupe with the opening of his store in Amsterdam. Holland appears to love us all too. Paul Smith's S/S12 latest menswear collection incorporates Psychadelic prints with traditional tailored twists the collection is a man's dream and with the latest Paul smith sunglasses collection remaining transparent or in strong neutral or monochromes there is no chance these will take away from this vibrant style only compliment it.
Nottingham born Paul Smith not only still loves his home town but does various collaborations with the local council including branding and design of product for their visitors. I love Paul Smith Eye wear and have several pairs of sunglasses and prescription ophthalmics.
I am off to don my stripey scarf and close up for the day, so Judges keep 'em peeled !
Stay safe and look out for another blog in a day or two
Keep 'em peeled,

Dolce and Gabbana rocks.......

Hello , and I hope you have had a pleasant Easter My fellow Judges,
All the foil wrappers and the remnants of the chocolate overload all disposed of I hope. I am currently writing this on the sofa with the grey clouds scudding outside. At least the birds are a little quieter at 4 am ! So what is new with you Judges' ? Did you get out and about like many of the Brit's who took to the motorways and sky over the break? If so, I do hope you had a great time wherever you went.
At the opticians and also on the website I can safely say that the bank holiday blip in the Summer has not stopped a glut of activity and purchasing.... thank goodness the post office is back open so I can send these off. It seems Stella McCartney sunglasses and Prada designer sunglasses are still top sellers off the website. In store it seems to be a mixture of Balenciaga sunglasses, Paul Smith sunglasses and Oliver Peoples sunglasses.
I am not sure if any of you read the Saturday Telegraph on 07/04/12 , they had the most intense cover shot from behind the scenes with the Italian Duo Dolce & Gabbana. The majority of the article is illustrated with their forth coming A/W12 collection which is a Sicilian take on the Baroque trend that is emerging a strong contender for A/W12.
This look is perfect for the explosive Duo and shows there strengths with strong shapes in flattering feminine shapes, with heavy gilded style patterns, lashings of lace, heavy needlepoint inspired floral shocks amongst a heavy background of black and cream. The collection is one of the strongest in many a year and nods back to Dolce & Gabbana's show stopping collection in '92 La Dolce Vita which is one of the collections that is responsible for hurtling the Duo to the forefront of feminine glamour and dramatic dressing.
Alongside this collection the current trend for lace is inspired by period drama's, a sense of more opulent times and of course the ultra feminine look that is seeing a surge on the high street.
We do have a limited stock of the exquisite Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses from last season that will dress up any outfit to bring it to the height of style. The sunglasses are a large frame in various colours and have been made using a special technique of laser cut lace then impregnated into an acetate to make what can only be described as a stylish contradiction. Technology versus tradition, Judges all i can say is if it's a purchase for yourself or a loved one the Dolce & Gabbana designer sunglasses collection will have you looking on top form in the style stakes.
For now Judges I am off to run a bath and catch up with some ancient aliens ( my new addiction )
Ciao for now

Bare faced cheek!

The Bare faced cheek

Well so far 2012 is bring us a wealth of varying trends and it seems anything goes in relation to sunglasses as long as the main principles are followed. This year sunglasses are going more retro than ever before with shapes reflecting shades from the 1800’s and the swinging sixties from Downtown and W.E. to Boardwalk Empire and the latest offering from BBC inspired by the on/off relationship between David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton ‘we’ll take Manhattan’.
The future is as round as the globe and angles are more subtle with simple sweeps of edges rather than the sharp angles of previous years.
This trend will compliment the look of outifts that are being presented for A/W12 with the likes of Alberta Ferretti in her roaring 20’s inspired high luxe collection with more than just a nod towards Erte’s great illustrations. Dolce&Gabbana’s Baroque inspired menswear collection and Prada who is re-visiting the land of gentry in Muccia’s subtle love of the classic man in her unique twist.
Colourwise in the collections of sunglasses nude is a hot look though some may say a little impractical, think gold and of course clear and the sexiness of tobacco/amber ( who ever said smoking was bad for you never saw Paul smith)

So come on all let’s rebel against the austerity packages and cheer ourselves up with some high lux wear and think sod the saving we may all be gone by 21.12.12 but at least we look frigging amazing.
Also look out gold this season in sunglases is more a subtle matte tone rather than the shiny yellow look of the past so come on let’s embrace it and stay cool.

Also don’t forget to keep ‘em peeled for our new lines coming by the end of January where we hope you will be as pleased by the offerings as us…….
