London Calling

Hello Judges,
I hope this finds you all well and you have been enjoying the sun and relaxing lots this week. It appears that New york fashion week passed by without too much causing outrage or rapturous applause. This being said, two collections were met with high acclaim... one being an ex spice girl and the other being an ex wife to a 'scientologist'. Victoria Beckham showed a collection of ultra cute dresses for her Victoria line and Katie Holmes premiered her first collection of separates to acclaim.

London Fashion week has been hailed a success so far with the likes of Jasper Conran sending down his models in fanatically simple clothing that represent British women to the full. He took a brave step(no pun intended) of sending down the models without shoes.

The Duchess of Cambridge favourite label 'Issa' premiered their S/S13 collection that can only be described as a great big sod off to the recession with oppulent fabrics and beautiful bold prints to stunning blocks of tropical colours. Staple Issa shapes of structure through to floor skimming maxi's.

The evening of September 16th sees Paul Smith breaking a mold for himself by streaming live his Womenswear collection. My prediction for this will also be his next foray into sunglasses and optics. For those of you already in the know Paul Smith sunglasses are actually designed and made by Oliver Peoples. The collection will be Paul smith's unique twist on \British tailoring and heritage with his usual smattering of inspiration from his walks around London and the world. Good Luck Paul with another show. The man must be tired the amount of collections and stores he has opened.

Well Judges I have to say this evening like a lot of the UK I am going to be revisiting a by gone era with the return of Downton Abbey. As i sit here typing this, I am titivating my bow tie and dusting off my velvet smoking jacket. Downton has not only been a massive ratings winner it has captured the hearts of many designers world over, with collections going back to the 20's and 30's.

Prada pillaged influences from the Baroque period highly embellished and exquisite fabrics. The Prada Baroque sunglasses are still catching the eyes of many, and have proved to be extremely popular.
Prada also this season decided to celebrate all things Americana with the arrival of the amazing Cadillac friendly 50's movie starlet Dixie's you really are spoilt for choice with the colours www.sendoptics.com and the price for these genuine high quality and unique Prada 'Dixies' that will keep you smiling throughout the winter months and years to come.

Men, we have not forgotten you with the Prada 'Teddy's' this collection of sunglasses that can only be described as multi functional highly stylish and not forgetting quality. Whether on your way to the office, kicking about town or on the golf course Prada Teddy's are one way to stand out from the crowd.

Well Judges', with the new John Lewis TV campaign on in the background a Nostalgic evening it is for me with roast chicken and a Manhattan coctail.

Get ready to party!

Well, we are in the middle Judges' of the festival season...Download has been and gone for all you rockers....No Glastonbury this summer, but waiting to get those cherished tickets for next year. Cornbury is on this weekend, so all you Newton Falkner fans get on down....hopefully not in the slurry!....and this has made me think....what sunglasses would look good with your Hunter wellies whilst getting down to the bands?......

This year, there are 2 main candidates.....

Dsquared neon collection model DS 0093 which is this season's biggie. The unisex acetate sunglass created by those urban favourite twins from Canada has been rolling out for both boys and girls. The sunglasses come in great colours and beautiful crafted mirrored lenses, which add detail to the simplest of outfits. And do not think you have to be under 25 to wear them....I have sold the black pair with bronze lenses to the most stylish 65 year old lady.....she loved them, and is probably going to be the coolest lady on her cruise.

Prada teddy collection is the latest coolest sunglass launched by the House of Prada. Lightweight and cool , having lenses for you budding Golfers' as well. See!....designer sunglasses are for all, not just the fashionistas amongst you!..

As I keep informing you, so you do not forget, www.sendoptics.com only sell current models and all have a 12 month gaurantee and come with their authorised packaging. When Prada met Schiaparelli

Well Judges,
Have you heard about the Prada and Schiaparelli impossible conversations exhibition about to open at the New York Met?. If not, here is a little surmise of what to see.... two of the best creative minds in one space with work spanning from the 20 th century to current day. The narrative that surrounds the beautiful clothing from both of fashion's power couple, one past and one so current her Prada mainline and Miu Miu collection are on every A lister at the moment ,and Schiaparelli is seeing a resurgance of her collections going onto the red carpet where they belong.
Although Schiaparelli is a name that fell out of favour in the 40's after Dior took her place with his 'new look' . If the embodiment of Schiaparelli's style were ever more obvious it is in the ethos behind Prada and her design, and is similar in style to that of this remarkable woman. Prada has a new buzz about the label and with this reinforced vigour comes a special capsule collection for both men and women in two separate styles.
The collection is titled 'Parallel universe' and is the 1st transversal men's and women's. The individual mens collection is called 'teddy' and for you ladies 'dixie' .
The 'Teddy sunglass' collection is supposed to be golf meets 50's Miami and has a unique look to an aviator style with a single bridge bar that wraps around the lenses . The look is stunning and adds a new dimension to a staple favourite sunglasses style for men.
The 'Dixie sunglass' collection is nothing short of genius based on Cadillac's and Americana ,the style is cat's eye with a superb Prada high style finish colourful, chrome and even available with mirrored lenses. Girl's with this collection all I can say is how lucky you are to have these coming very soon. These are arriving as we speak, so we should have delivery very soon. Stocks will be lim ited, so reserve your Prada dixie sunglass collection and Prada teddy sunglass collection now!
I can't wait to see the pictures from the exhibition and i cannot wait to see my first real person in the sunglasses from these special collections.
So Judges', of late I have been immersed in Lots of fun things.... a couple of local exhibitions, watching some great war TV and the final episodes of Spartacus... goodness me ,those Gladiators could of done with some high performance sunglasses with all that sun.
Well for now Judges I will say see you later and keep 'em peeled and remember that www.sendoptics.com is the home of all the latest styles and news. also, don't forget to 'like us on facebook. Send optics, (2 separate words), and if you get 25 of your friends to like us a s well, we will give you and extra £20 discount, and any non-eu residents (outside europe) get their sunglass duty-free without VAT tax, so an extra 20% off!...Even more benefits not to live in europe!....(only joking, i'm a total european me.)
