What a week it has been for Dior!

Hello Judges,
Well what a weekend in the world of fashion it has been. Dior continues to intrigue the world of fashion with Raf Simons upcoming couture show headlining the shows in July. Either way I predict that the show itself will dominate this season with his vision of how couture should be.. Hopefully with his usual quirks and use of colour injecting a new look for Dior again.
Like the 'Les Marquis collection' of sunglasses adding a new look to the faces of many fashion conscious ladies. Alternatively, ladies and gents give the new luxury label with strong Italian roots a chance to grace our faces ....Bottega Veneta sunglasses .
Other fashion news appears to be the ongoing debate for men's trends. Do we go sports tastic for the Olympics wearing the likes of Tag Heur sunglasses with their exclusive high grade lenses ideal for all different activities including funnily enough driving with there low light night lenses...... or pack a punch with Prada Linea Rossa sunglasses. Altenatively do we continue to rock the American prep trend and complete the look with Johnny Depp's and Robert Downey Jnr favourite label Oliver Peoples sunglasses or Paul Smith sunglasses for the ultimate in cool.
Well, last weekend I celebrated my birthday with my friends with a few drinks and too much cake. Some quality tracks from the years and too much wrapping paper strewn over the floor on Sunday morning. One of my friends discovered my latest find that will be coming to the site very soon! So keep em peeled for a few new labels one well known making a welcome return and another new to me but the style is too cool for Skool !.
I have to say Sunday appeared to be like travelling back to early January with the Wind, Rain and of course the freezing temperature. So with nothing else to do I went over to the cinema to watch my first Polish film, not only a first but with a reactive gentleman with a colourful imagination and even more colourful use of the English Language whenever there was an explosion made for a second first. A film of serious content becoming the most hilarious thing to happen in a long time ...Roll on when i get to tell a couple of my friends about this. Totally surreal....a Polish war film about espionage and a guy in the audience with Tourettes!

2012 sunglasses that may change your life...

Well hello Judges,
My goodness this week seems to be flying , and i cannot believe that we are edging ever closer to the summer months. Bring it on , as then everyday i can wear another one of my ever growing sunglasses collection. There has to be an upside to being optician , and summer sure is one of the best times.
So how has your week been going?.. I have to say mine has been going rather well. I have a party to go to at the weekend... a friend's birthday ,so I am looking forward to letting my hair down. and have a Sauvignon Blanc or 3!. What is your tipple of the moment ?...a friend of mine keeps going on about Pink gin but it always reminds me of politicians during the war years.
I don't know if you happened to read the Mail on Sunday's last week in the' You' magazine. I came across an article that has inspired the next section of this blog. Simply, it grouped together the four main shapes for sunglasses and matched them with designer sunglasses.
So in a way this blog will do the same except go one step further and recommend which face shape suits which trend and not forgetting aviators.
Round sunglasses - These are back with a bang, and are taking over the faces of many up and down the country ranging from small to large frames. Available in various colours but to be ahead of the trend think tortoiseshell for that real authentic/classic look.
Think the Beatles, Liam Gallagher, Hirohito and Gandhi .
Round sunglasses suit people with a strong bone structure, long or oblong face as it helps to soften the sometimes harsh angles.
Labels that really do this trend justice are Balenciaga sunglasses, Bvlgari sunglasses, Gucci sunglasses and Tom Ford sunglasses .
Retro Sunglasses have been coming up trumps, and I have so many genuine retro and also 'newtro' sunglasses this is a look that will never leave, as the colours and shapes are classic and just get a freshen up each season. This season the introduction of tobacco shades and amber makes the new sunglasses look aged and shapes hail from any bygone era, larger frames tend to be taking inspiration from the 60's think Jackie O, Mary Quant, Andy Warhol, Arthur Askey and Harold Lloyd.
The retro sunglass is dependant on shape but if they are more rounded than angled people with square, triangle or oblong face shapes will benefit though people with a heavier set face will benefit from something with more of angle.
Labels to look for to head back to the golden age are:- Oliver Peoples sunglasses, Stella McCartney sunglasses,Giorgio Armani sunglasses and Paul Smith sunglasses .
Cat's eye sunglasses have clawed their way up the fashion pack picks , and scratched the eyes of many editors on the front rows of the shows. The look hails back to the 50's , and with that great shape comes many benefits in the sense of the wider brow line that narrows at an angle to a much smaller base of the lens. This look can be carried of by all face shapes and the look is a very glamorous look think:- Paloma faith, Dita von Teese, the fifties housewife or secretary and not forgetting Dame Edna Everage.
Fancy sunglasses are what can finally be described as sunglasses that are more in your face and bold in statement. Colours rich patterns and quirky or intricate finishing touches. Shapes are varied and range size all that can be said are these are not for someone a person who does not like to stand out from the crowd.
Depending on confidence and shape this is a look that could be carried of by one and all.
Current trend setters are:- The Rizzle Kicks, Tinchie Stryder, Katy Perry,Lady GaGa and Jessie J
Labels that shine to the max are: - Dolce&Gabbana sunglasses , Marc Jacobs sunglasses , Bottega Venetta sunglasses for it's luxury take on this trend, Dior sunglasses, Balenciaga sunglasses for pushing the boundaries.
Whichever of the trends you Judges' choose to rock you, can be sure www.sendoptics.com has something for everyone, I have recently increased our discounts to you and made sure that we are the most competitive that we have ever been.

Black tie colection....the best for men from Dior.

Hello and Good Evening,
Well the Bank hoilday weekend is nearly upon us and it looks like it will be a total washout. Scotland is as usual having two seasons in one day with Sun and Snow. I have already eaten enough chocolate to sink a battleship and can't face another hot cross bun.
I am thinking on my Monday off I may pop over to have an amble about in the peak district but if the weather carries on much like this then I will be staying home and cracking on with even more website or blog stuff to keep you hungry Judges entertained in the future.
So for you lovely judges that love to read my blog I am also becoming a dab hand with facebook so join me on send optics and like the content to follow me and my little quips on a quicker format.
You all may have been looking at the Dior's and wondering what the Black tie collection is all about ...well in simple terms, for you fans of high quality French style then look no further. Dior's black tie collection is the highest in the style stakes for men. The simple shapes are limited but designed for all face shapes in mind.
Men you only need to think one thing when you think sunglasses, think nothing more than Dior hommes sunglasses.
As Amy winehouse sang 'it's time to go back to black 'and think discount Dior sunglasses.
Judges remeber sendoptics is the home of discounted designer sunglasses
Happy Easter

Bvlgari me!....What a scorcher!

Phew Judges,
What a corker of a day the sun has really been beaming through the windows today. We have had so many in the shop today looking and buying Sunglasses it has made us all a little weary at the end of the day. I have a huge smile on my face from being so busy, but no rest for the wicked and on with the today tasty titbits.
Where are my manners... how the devil are, you my fellow style police? Have you been busy or relaxing, getting out and about in this fine weather? I have been pottering about on the decking and even sat outside with a nice glass of red yesterday evening enjoying the warmer nights. The heating has firmly been switched off now, so please stay with us for a bit longer.
You may have noticed that little old me has passed on a little gift to keep you all happy you may have noticed a rather hurried image that has been placed in the banner reel and button on the right. For those of you that just go straight for the products, I will explain.
The image states up to 20% off sunglasses and that is simple as that all sunglasses now have a minimum of 17.5% off the rrp, in effect what I am doing is paying most of the the v.a.t for you in the UK and for you overseas you will not be missing out on the discount I can assure you. (As soon as I have finalised this and a clear way to explain it I will post the full terms on the site). For the time being ,just drop myself an email via the contact us and I will tell you how this works.
The saving is not the only thing I will be giving you either with every pair of sunglasses you will be offered the choice of either a lens care kit or spectaloop a new magnetic way of carrying you sunglasses.
No it's not a gimmick from now on this discount will remain and the choice of gift.
Whilst I am talking of money and Sunglasses some of you are already clued up on the labels we stock but allow me a moment to tell you about Bvlgari sunglasses. The house is not Russian but Italian as many think. The house is older than Chanel and Dior yet remains almost a secret with those purveyors off quality. Bvlgari eyewear this season takes inspiration from coins and the collection is based on simple colours and varied shapes big and small.

So all I can say for now is enjoy the discounted sunglasses from now a gift from us at send optics so tell your friends, hell tells your frenemies tell the world.

FEBRUARY IS THE MONTH OF LOVE!!! ....and 10% EXTRA DISCOUNT ON DIOR AND PAUL SMITH!!!!!
 Welcome back fellow Judges'
Well, February has begun with snow hitting the UK with bright skys aplenty. We hope you are not starting all your stories a'la Victoria Wood...'it begins on a cold wet february morning....'. At least the bright skys are giving us an excuse to keep on trend wearing one of the many pairs of sunglasses. Which look are you rocking to beat the cold and stay well protected?.

So onto a bit about what we are doing here at www.sendoptics.com . We are finishing up the mass job of overhauling the site as a whole. We at Judges' cannot thank you enough for your patience and of course your brilliant thoughts and feedback.
As a thank-you we are giving an extra 10% discount on all Dior and Paul Smith sunglasses until Feb 15th, so you can give your loved one that something special. So now we have got january over and done with, the year is finally swinging into shape!. So with our fingers ever firmly on the pulse we have another little gem of style advice for you all. This year is seeing colour blocking for men throwwing itself into the arena along with ice colours to keep us all cool in the summer (surely we deserve a heat wave, so we have an excuse to have so many pairs of sunglasses). Ladies, you have a veritable feast of trends, look out for strong colours and of course February is all about love so think the colour of love. with red you will not go far wrong to see you right through the season. If you dont feel confident to wear the colour as a whole look, ever thought about injecting red into your sunglasses and accessories, come on, you wear it on your lips and hair, so why not over your eyes....?
So with it coming to Valentine's day, ladies/gents, why not give your love something more lasting than a meal  in a packed restaurant, flowers that wilt, or worse still, ynderwear they would not be seen dead in!. Give your love protection and something to see you through for sometime to come.....
With all or love, here's to the month of love...
Keep Judging, and keep them peeled,
