I hope you are well. Here at www.sendoptics.com we have been very busy sending out orders, and looking at the forthcoming collections for 2013. It seems as usual the fashion world cannot wait for the year to be over and done with.

Swarovski was one of the collections we have had the privilege to see. The collection is very elegant and will sell no doubt, with their hit of a year that is almost over. Cheryl Cole is still a massive fan and with spending more time in the States is rarely spotted without a pair of Swarovski sunglasses , as is Christina Aguilera. Well Judges I bet the pair are like a pair of crystal princesses.

This year as well as excelling with a variety of new styles to the sunglasses to the Swarovski range. Swarovski also embellished the entrancing make up look to the Dior ready to wear show. The make-up artists chose to compliment eye sockets with pastel shades of the infamous Elements crystals that the fashion world has come to use from clothing to make-up.... looks to bedazzle the viewer.

For now Judges I am off to watch some good old fashioned glamour filled film and am looking forward to seeing the crystal filled Great Gatsby this Christmas. Talking of Christmas , remember in this winter sun to keep those precious eyes protected with u.v. levels being higher than in summer it is twice as important to feel cool and look cool

Raf brings a fresh new look with new blood.

Hello Judges,

Well a lot has been happening over the last few weeks and sorry the blog has suffered from a lack of content. I promise I will be back on three times a week from now on.

So Judges, hopefully you have been keeping tabs on the updates of www.sendoptics.com the new look has gone hand in hand with new looks being launched all over the catwalks. Dior was the hottest ticket in Paris with the unveiling of a tame and timeless collection that was updated from the archives the fashion world has gone mad for his Couture and his ready to wear collection was simple yet stunning.

Dior has already teased us with their new look sunglasses collection and I have to say you will see a couple of images on this blog of the forth coming collection. The collection itself is not hugely disimilar to 'Les Marquises' this years hugely popular collection. The collection is based around the popular cats eye shape.

Dior as a label is renowned for a style that is simplistic yet showy and always will be renowned for ultra rich quality in both fabric and finish. The sunglasses collection is no different, and will give you a luxury look without costing a small fortune.

London Calling

Hello Judges,

I hope this finds you all well and you have been enjoying the sun and relaxing lots this week. It appears that New york fashion week passed by without too much causing outrage or rapturous applause. This being said, two collections were met with high acclaim... one being an ex spice girl and the other being an ex wife to a 'scientologist'. Victoria Beckham showed a collection of ultra cute dresses for her Victoria line and Katie Holmes premiered her first collection of separates to acclaim.

London Fashion week has been hailed a success so far with the likes of Jasper Conran sending down his models in fanatically simple clothing that represent British women to the full. He took a brave step(no pun intended) of sending down the models without shoes.

The Duchess of Cambridge favourite label 'Issa' premiered their S/S13 collection that can only be described as a great big sod off to the recession with oppulent fabrics and beautiful bold prints to stunning blocks of tropical colours. Staple Issa shapes of structure through to floor skimming maxi's.

The evening of September 16th sees Paul Smith breaking a mold for himself by streaming live his Womenswear collection. My prediction for this will also be his next foray into sunglasses and optics. For those of you already in the know Paul Smith sunglasses are actually designed and made by Oliver Peoples. The collection will be Paul smith's unique twist on \British tailoring and heritage with his usual smattering of inspiration from his walks around London and the world. Good Luck Paul with another show. The man must be tired the amount of collections and stores he has opened.

Well Judges I have to say this evening like a lot of the UK I am going to be revisiting a by gone era with the return of Downton Abbey. As i sit here typing this, I am titivating my bow tie and dusting off my velvet smoking jacket. Downton has not only been a massive ratings winner it has captured the hearts of many designers world over, with collections going back to the 20's and 30's.

Prada pillaged influences from the Baroque period highly embellished and exquisite fabrics. The Prada Baroque sunglasses are still catching the eyes of many, and have proved to be extremely popular.

Prada also this season decided to celebrate all things Americana with the arrival of the amazing Cadillac friendly 50's movie starlet Dixie's you really are spoilt for choice with the colours www.sendoptics.com and the price for these genuine high quality and unique Prada 'Dixies' that will keep you smiling throughout the winter months and years to come.

Lets go back to the 1980's!!!

Good day Judges'...
Well I had a fun night last night.....having a 1980's retro night in, dressed in my lycra and leg warmers, drinking cheap fizzy wine whilst watching the second episode of Dallas !!!!.... Yes , Dallas!...And it is as good as it ever was!...And even Cliff Barnes was on it last night.....Last week Lucy Ewing made a guest appearence..bless, the years have not been kind to her!..
Well, a quick resume..Sue Ellen was at the Cattle Baron's Ball where everyone was dressed upto the 9's and it made me think...what type of sunglasses would Sue Ellen and her cronies wear?....Well, it has to be bling, of course!...
And the sunglasses that effuse bling, style and beauty have to be either Swarovski sunglasses or Bvlgari sunglasses , which are both styled to an inch of their life.

Well, wasn't last night's closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympics featuring Coldplay and Rihanna excellent!....I have to say, seeing the paralympians over the past week and a half was amazing!.... you forget that they have a disability, and their achievements were given their due appreciation by the British public today on their open top tour around London with the Olypians from 2012. Without sounding jingoistic, this summer has made me proud to say that I am 'made in Britain'.

Their 'homesteads' are all electrified and they are teaching even their very young children how to shoot with the most frighening weapons imaginable!...but one thing they can't decide on... how the world will end... Miu MIu goes to the Venice film festival and causes a stir.

Hello Judges,

I know it has been a few weeks since I updated the blog and sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been busy with the Olympics and a little holiday. Venice film festival has happened over the last week. Muccia Prada presented her 'Womens Tales' collection of short films that she collaborated on with four female directors, to bring takes on the female point of view. The main point of the four vigniettes were not just to showcase the fantastic collection and diversity of the Miu Miu collections of clothing and accessories but also to investigate womens habits and rituals within their lives.

In the four films the Miu Miu 'Noir' collection and Miu Miu 'Culte' collection feature during points to show the element of masking identity or creating the finished look for all outfits.

Muccia Prada has not only been busy with this festival, but also adapting her previous collections from the Prada and Miu Miu collections for the big screen. The majority of this years must see film 'The Great Gatsby' is costumed by the creative Genius Muccia Prada. The film is directed by Baz Lurman.

Muccia Prada this year has kept us all on our toes and has no time to stop creating womens and mens collections for Prada lines and creative director for Miu Miu this woman has had one hell of a year and this year will go down as Miu Miu's finest with the launch of the excceptional sunglasses that have taken the fashion pack by storm.

Well Judges', have you been watching the Paralympics ? What fantastic examples the athletes are, and I am enjoying all this sport, nothing is better than thinking you are exhausting yourself whilst watching sport and eating chocolate.

I know it has been a few weeks since I updated the blog and sorry for not writing sooner, but I have been busy with the Olympics and a little holiday. Holidays seem to be on everyones mind at the moment ,whether to book or not for next year; personally this Judge is staying off... what with December coming up .....the end of the world according to the Mayans ! The Party's over, and September is approaching

Well hello there,

Well Judges I know I have been quiet for the past couple of weeks, and I do appologise for this, but if you have visited www.sendoptics.com in the past week you will have seen what we have been doing instead. That is right.... we have finally completed all of the changes to the website and are currently working on a few other things to make the site even better.

The Olympics in London finished just past midnight last night, and what a fantastic games it has turned out to be. Who could believe that all those doubting Thomas's at the start of the games could now have become buzzing with the Union spirit. Congratulations to Team GB for inspiring a nation and help lifting our spirits and providing such great entertainment. Have to say...what was the highlight of the closing ceremony for you? the 'jigsaw' John lennon face? The Who? Jessie J ?...errrr The Spice Girls?!!!... Kate Moss, et al were stunning...but what they were doing there heaven knows!!

I have to say Judges, I was a little unsure of Stella Mccartneys Team GB kit, but after seeing it for the last couple of weeks I have totally changed my mind, and am considering changing my running kit. Well come along now, it is not long until Rio.

Judges'... it's that time of year where Fashion magazines are hitting the shelves of bookstores and newsstands, and each year the September issues of the glossy elites and this year they will be no doubt cram packed full of Designers desperate to take on the collections that will take us through the next quarter.. Will you be sporting the English eccentric look..... a mix of glammed up 'country chic'... think Paul Smith and Stella Mccartney. Rocking the full on over embelished and love of velvet that Baroque will bring to both Mens and womens wardrobes this year look at Prada, Miu Miu, Dolce and Gabbana and even Swarovski. Fans of Prada Baroque collection will have noticed the likes of Solange Knowles( sister of Beyonce) rocking out with her Minimal Bartoque sunglasses along with Rhianna and Lady Gaga.

Androgony in womenswear is a big influence.;.. with the recession, hem lines are attacking the ankles this winter, and trousers will be extra wide ... look back at the likes of Yves st laurent and his smoking trousers and Armani's staple palazzo pants, the Great Gatsby, and not forgetting Marlene Dietrich. Accesorise the look with heavy frames in black or tortoisehell - Oliver peoples Bernardo and Oliver peoples Sheldrake. Armani's offering of the frames of life in the heavy round frames or even rimless will add the masculine twist to even the most femenine outfits.

The weather this year has so far this year been rather hit and miss, though saying that, this weekend the weather here has been too good to be hauled up in my flat. I am off for a run and then for a bite to eat.
