Well, wasn't last night's closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympics featuring Coldplay and Rihanna excellent!....I have to say, seeing the paralympians over the past week and a half was amazing!.... you forget that they have a disability, and their achievements were given their due appreciation by the British public today on their open top tour around London with the Olypians from 2012. Without sounding jingoistic, this summer has made me proud to say that I am 'made in Britain'.

Last night, I also watched this fascinating programme on National geographic about 'Domesday Preppers'... these people live in America and are preparing for Armageddon/ End of the world/Rapture... an 'eclectic' bunch of people, who are storing upto 15 years of dehydrated / canned food, and bottled water that could fill a lake!... Their 'homesteads' are all electrified and they are teaching even their very young children how to shoot with the most frighening weapons imaginable!...but one thing they can't decide on... how the world will end...
