Our hearts will go on for Celine...

Well Hello Judges,
I hope this finds you well and enjoying the warmer weather, ha!...it is in my head ,and as an act of rebellion ,I have been sporting sunglasses out and about even in the cold damp weather of late. The summer certainly seems to be struggling to keep it's grip. Oh well ,we have to keep calm and carry on; despite this we have so much to look forward to... what with the impending Jubilee weekend on it's way and the Olympics..... My bet is we have donkey races, sack relays and darts in smokey pubs included just for us Brit's.
Hopefully you have noticed two new arrivals on the site by now ....Mcqueen sunglasses which has you all in a flutter with it's feather etching and simple shapes. There will be a separate Mcqueen blog to tell you all about this stunning new collection. The latest collection to take shape is the super luxury French label Celine , not Dion you smart Alec Judges. Celine is the super luxury label favoured by the likes of Rhianna (when she wants to keep her clothes and sunglasses on) Madonna (the human clothes horse) and many more Hollywood A lister's.
Celine itself began life in the 1945 as a children's bespoke footwear designer created by Celine Viapana and is now in the capable hands of Phoebe Philo who has entered a stage in her design career that suits the brands heritage. Philo wishes to create collections that merge into each other through the season so that you can link past with present like Viapana championed. Throw away fashion is not what the brand or Philo have been about updating fabrics, colours and shapes but gimmicks are a no no.
The label has a huge debt of thanks to pass onto Philo for creating somewhat of a cult for the wide legged trousers, and extra long cuffed white shirt that has no collar, the dress that stands away from the body rather than clinging to every curve for it's dear life. All in all Philo has created a look that is unique in a time when skinny jeans and tight dresses are still a big part of fashion. Like all fashion ,not everyone suits or wants to wear the same look so Celine is maybe a little different in it's trend ,but it still is ranked amongst one of the most influential French fashion institutes and it's accessories are to die for. The label's customer is intelligent, modern and like there fashion to be unassuming and timeless.
Celine sunglasses were recently featured in British vogue with Jourdan Dunn seductively holding them. What a waste I say, and Rhianna recently wore them to hide her party hard fatigue and was caught on the front cover of Grazia UK magazine. Celine is a label for all you stylish ladies and the sunglasses are able to fit both men and women's faces. A Duchess of style, and a McQueen to beat the best of the rest...

Hello my Judges,
How the devil are you ?. It seems the sun is struggling in the cloud leaden skies of late. I have lots to tell you, but again I have been told to keep it short and sweet ( what the hell ,I will do as I like....).
Well last month saw a year since The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot ,and congratulations to them both; how did you celebrate the big day.?.... I was of course locked up in the optician's sorting my customers out with glasses and sunglasses. Kate already heralded as one of the most influential fashion icons of modern times got married in Mcqueen, designed by Sarah Burton ,who created heaven in a dress with the lace being made in Nottinghamshire and Paris and hand cut... the detailing was nothing short of genius.
Mcqueen was founded by Lee Mcqueen back in 1993 a young Londoner who shook the stale fashion world up. His ethos was based on sharp cuts with the use of tailoring methods and traditional or futuristic fabrics. All in all the look was easily unique, and gave Mcqueen a reputation as a rising star and soon catapulted him to new highs. He remained there until 2010 with his untimely death and his best friend Sarah Burton remains true to the original ethos.
You guessed it yet then Judges.....?! That is right I am pleased to say we have the new collection of Mcqueen sunglasses collection. The collection is stunning and has something for everyone . Armani ' Frame of your life ' or should that be 'This is Your life'?

Good day Judges,
How the devil are you ? The weather is still, how do I say a little up and down.Bank holiday as usual was a wash out. I did nothing but watch classic war films and my hero Arthur Askey...dancing around like a little bumble bee I was...If you have absolutely NO idea who he is' you tube' him and he is ace!!!!....Ghost Train is a classic film with his buudy 'Stinker' Murdoch!!...Oh i could go on and on...
Have you seen the buzz surrounding the Godfather of Italian fashion Giorgio Aramani's latest campaign for his optical and sunglasses range. The collection is based around design concepts for major design cities from around the globe. From London to New york via Beijing. The main idea being these frames not only help to express your personality but help you to create new looks, and most of all moments in your life. Has Armani gone soft?.... the answer is ' no ' .... the campaign on the website features people from each city in the frames dressed to express the feel of the city and themselves wearing key pieces from the collection some of the folk featured were found from Facebook even.
This idea got me thinking about our current ideas and usage of social media. Do we still use it just for communicating with our friends? The answer if you are like me is 'no'. Facebook and other social media sites have evolved so much that now we can follow trends, polotics, actors, designers every moves. Armani really has embraced this idea with this intriguing idea and the frames really are second to none.
The name Armani to most brings forth ideas of simplicity of silhouette with Italian quality craftsmanship, I have a couple of very nice Armani Palazzo Suits ( very 40's wide leg trouser) The look is timeless ; less about trend ,more about endurance and championing a statement in a way against fashion with it's finger upto what is hot. Needless to say Armani never puts a foot wrong ,and with the opening of his luxury hotel in Milan where his headquarters are based.Armani is a force still to be reckoned with.
Armani 'frame of your life' Sunglasses collection is stunning with styles from an aviator based on american airforce original's with the leather top bridge bar and finishing on the arms. Rounded 40's shapes that suit men or women to glamorous big shapes in crocodile print and colours from silver and nude honey. The collection is classic and will keep you protected for seasons to come.We have Armani sunglasses and this collection on our site.
Armani stated that we should always posses a pair of sunglasses for daytime and one for evening. Do you think Giorgio wears his at night when walking along the streets of Milan hunting out inspiration for his new collection?. Either way ,I feel a tad guilty with my multiple pairs for just about any occasion.
